I was introduced to Over The Garden Wall in 2015 by Jin, and I loved it. It’s become one of my favorite cartoons.

Never did I imagine that years later, I’d be doing a cover for the official comic by BOOM! Studios. It will be released this September. The solicitation may be found here: http://www.cbr.com/boom-studios-september-2017-solicitations/

This time around, my art is going to be on the main cover! And it feels surreal that the creator, Patrick McHale, saw my work. As a fan of the show, I’m very honored to have been given this chance.

honestly ??? lorna from otgw had so much fuckin potential to be a bomb ass main character like i wish she was introduced earlier on in the series and joined the gang ??? she was such an interesting character like i wanna know her backstory i wanna know why she lives w aunty whispers ??? where is her actual family ??? how did she become possessed ??? i have so many questions about that bitch I want her to have her own spinoff or smth idk i freakin love lorna

It’s beautiful how Wirt has no register between “the obsidian cricket of our inevitable twilight singing our requiem” and “smell you later.”

Also, and don’t ask me how I know this, but no one ever used the word “obsidian” in its adjectival sense who did not, at some point, look up the word “black” in the thesaurus.
