If you’re light skinned PLEASE stop telling dark skinned women and people that our struggle is the same, we have it so much easier than them, and the moment they go to address it, we wanna hit them with that kumbaya shit. Like has it ever just hit y’all that y’all aren’t dark skinned and we as a collective group of lighter people, have never dealt with being dark skinned????? So all I’m really saying is if your light and a dark skinned person is bring up colorism SHUT THE FUCK UP AND LISTEN. LISTEN, take it in, and correct yourself. That simple.
