john saying “i do” with such cheerful glee in his eyes that sherlock’s brain short circuits so that he just blinks and doesn’t say anything when the vicar asks “do you take john hamish watson? mr holmes? mr holmes?” and it’s only when john laughs and softly says “sherlock” does he go “i do! i do! i do. [small] i do.”
