(I’m not sure if someone has thought of this but I thought I would share something I realised over my Cheerios this morning)

I was watching Gem Glow this morning and I realised something. I think there was MAJOR foreshadowing to Back to the Barn and Too Far.
When Pearl is teaching Steven she says that she focuses and concentrates on her gem and the world around her. It takes her focus to summon her gem. Amethyst on the other hand, as she says “Whenever I want to summon my gem, it just happens.” So amethyst doesn’t concentrate at all and just has to think about her weapon to summon it.
At the time we think this is just showing the gems personalities; but what if it’s actually referring to their positions as Homeworld gems? Pearl was meant to be a servant and look nice so she wasn’t meant to be able to summon her weapon easily and therefore has to concentrate hard to summon it as it goes against her reason for creation. Amethyst however was made to be a warrior and therefore can summon her weapon with little to no thought.

I know this means nothing but I just thought it was incredible they may have put foreshadowing in the first episode for an episode 74 episodes later.

99-Year-Old Lady Sews A Dress A Day For Children In Need

Lillian Weber, a 99-year-old good Samaritan from Iowa, has spent the last few years sewing a dress a day for the Little Dresses For Africa charity, a Christian organization that distributes dresses to children in need in Africa and elsewhere.

Weber’s goal is to make 1,000 dresses by the time she turns 100 on May 6th. So far, she’s made more than 840. Though she says she could make two a day, she only makes one – but each single dress she makes per day is personalized with careful stitchwork. She hopes that each little girl who receives her dress can take pride in her new garment.

this lady must live forever
