If you’re reading this, you made it — you survived another year.

Whether you made your way here with ease and comfort, or you made it here wounded and struggling, you survived. You survived hurts and hardships. You survived doubt and fear and uncertainty.

You survived yourself on the days your negative thoughts became cruel and self-deprecating. You survived unforeseen obstacles and heartbreaks and losses. And you survived all of the days you felt convinced you would fall apart; days you wanted to give up; days you felt certain the pain would never fade. Again and again, you survived — and you deserve to feel so proud of yourself.

I don’t know what 2016 will bring you, but I promise that you can survive it too. And more than that, I promise that you don’t have to make the journey alone.
