does anyone else ever like…. partially dissociate? like there’s a little part of you that is just not there but the rest of you is like “come back to the body, bud, we have stuff to do”

yall need to learn the difference between dissociating and spacing out

Spacing out is a form of normal dissociation that everyone experiences. Dissociation doesn’t necessarily equal a symptom of a more severe underlying disorder, so it’s not at all strange that “neurotypical” people experience this as well. It’s very similar to intrusive thoughts in that over 90% of the US population can recount going through it at some point in their lives.
