3. The Tide pod/forbidden snacks meme started in autistic and ND communities in reference to how frustrating it is to have something seem like the perfect stim only to have it be dangerous. It got stolen by neurotypicals, who turned it into whatever it is now. It’s fidget spinners all over again.
