I know that passing isn’t everything but it can be a huge relief for many people. 

Nonbinary people, however, don’t really have that a lot of the time. And you are kinda left with this really uncomfortable knowledge that you maybe will have to live with this background noise of not-passing your entire life.

It’s not that I want to be a whiner – I’m definitely thankful for visibility. But it’s just kinda exhausting to know that you’re running towards a horizon that’s retreating at the same velocity as your efforts to look comfortable as yourself.
