I personally think that adding the #Latina tag in the circumstances you mention in your ask or circumstances similar to those, is just fine! We would appreciate all the help we can get from our herman@s from all nationalities and identifications spectrums who want to add the #Latina whenever it’s appropriate.
You just have to make sure the tag is relevant to our mission here at RTLT, and you’re set to go.

I saw your post about how ~10 porn images get posted in the #latina tag for every 1 post you make. I was wondering if a white person who supports the cause of ending the hypersexualization of Latinas (and WoC in general) wants to help, would it be okay to add the #latina tag to something like-for example-a Frida Kahlo picture or a Sandra Cisneros poem or even a picture of my stepsister (who is 100% Mexican) at a feminist rally? Or should white “allies” maybe just leave the tag alone, to be safe?
